MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
President Shane Shelton opened the meeting welcoming 23 members.
Jim Shipps reported on the April outing to East End Cafe. It was well attended by 40 people. There were 8-9 antique vehicles driven. Everyone had a great time celebrating Jim’s Birthday.
Shane reported the Auto Rama event will not be held d/t lack of interest by other clubs.
After a long deliberation, THE DATE OF THE MAY OUTING HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM SATURDAY, MAY 20 TO SUNDAY, MAY 21 AT 2:00 P.M. The date has been changed due to a number of car shows in the area on Saturday. The outing will be held rain or shine. Phil said if it is raining, the food will be “carry out”. Bill will meet anyone who wants to caravan to the Birch’s house at the old Summit Bank near Fitness Unlimited (1114 AR-35). If planning to attend but missed the meeting, please contact Phil at 501-351-5163 to let him know you are attending. The Birch’s address is 1112 McCurdy, Benton. Everyone should bring their own lawn chair and drink.
Lisa Ramsey has organized a workers list and grocery list for items needed for the Car Show Concessions. It is ready for everyone to sign up. The list will be brought to meetings up until the Car Show. You will be receiving another e-mail with the sign up lists.
Landmark Baptist Church Car Show is May 20. Entry Fees goes towards the Children’s Choir fund.
Spring Creek Baptist Church has their Car Show on June 3. For information, contact Wanda Price.
