| DCC Monthly Club Meeting MEETING NOTES: 05/01/25 Wood Grill, Benton Meeting called to order by: Roger Weng, President Time: 7:00 pm# Attending the meeting: 49 OLD BUSINESS: Meeting notes-Amy Reed-secretary Treasurer report- Tosha Thibeau Motion to accept treasurer report- Bob McLarty, 2nd- Bob Perlinger, passed by majority vote Motion to accept meeting minutes-Rodney Kooiman, 2nd- Henry J. passed by majority vote NEW BUSINESS New Members Introduced: WELCOME – Marcus & Renee Daily, Cecil Parsons Car Show Committee Meeting: Bob Perlinger reported meeting minutes-meeting was held 4/10/25 @ La Hacienda in Benton Next car show committee meeting is 5/21/25 6:00 pm @ La Hacienda 501c3 sponsor/donation was letter finalized for the club sponsorship & events Club taxes for 2024 were completed & submitted by Tosha T. Club Inventory has been moved to our new storage facility, Middleton Storage Units. Middleton has graciously donated a unit for club use. Thanks to Bill Gray & Middleton Storage!The club is still looking for a club communication app. If anyone has an idea, please let an officer know. We will continue to use the Remind app. Club Charities for the car show were discussed. 2024 charities were, The Call, Safe Haven, CJohn, We Are the 22, and Autism Alliance. Floor was opened to charity nominations for the 2025 car show and voting. Club agreed to continue supporting 5 charities. Shane Shelton made a motion to support the Tyler Buck Foundation, Bill Gray 2nd, passed by majority club vote. Tosha Thibeau made a motion to support Safe Haven, Bill Gray 2nd, passed by majority club vote. Bill Gray made a motion to support We Are the 22, Tim D. 2nd, motion passed by club majority vote. Bill Gray made a motion to support The Autism Alliance, Tanny J. 2nd, motion passed by majority club vote. Tom Hanson made a motion to support The Catch Project, Gary Reed 2nd, motion passed by majority club vote.A final vote for these 5 charities was made, all were approved by club majority vote with no opposition.The 5 charities for 2025 Charity Car Show will be The Tyler Buck Foundation, Safe Haven, We Are the 22, The Autism Alliance, and The Catch Project. Open Floor: Autumn Thibeau announced a car show by the Bryant FBLA benefiting The Alzheimer’s Walk will be 9/13/25 9-3 pm. She asked for club members to volunteer to judge. Other events: -Car Show Committee meeting- May 21 6:00 at La Hacienda, Benton-Tim is still taking pictures of members and their vehicles for the club directory, contact him to set up a time and place-Our club is now set up to receive Kroger awards, please download the app and select Dixie Car Club to receive the awards percentage from your purchases. It is NO cost to you. It is Kroger’s way to give back to nonprofit organizations. Thank you!- Bill Gray has been able to get the Club a storage unit donated by Middleton Storage Unit.
