Established in 1975, the Dixie Car Club has been going strong for nearly five decades. We are an active organization that participates in a wide variety of events, including meet-and-greets, club picnics, cruises, parades, and holiday-themed activities.
The club is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and takes great pride in giving back to our local community. One of our highlights each year is our annual charity car show, held every October—our largest and most anticipated event.

Let’s introduce our club officers!
President Roger Weng
Roger joined the club in 2022. He is a retired Air Force veteran of 30 years. He enjoys restoring old cars and prefers 60s muscle cars with the “Bowtie”. At 14, he acquired a 1965 Impala and still owns that same car today! His arsenal of vehicles include Corvairs, Camaros, Impalas, Chevelles, and Chevy trucks. He always enjoys cruising and hanging out with fellow enthusiasts.

Secretary Amy Reed
Amy has been a member of the club since 2023. Her and her husband, Gary, own a 1940 Ford truck and a 1995 Jeep Wrangler. She has 2 children, Garett married to Cailley, and Autumn married to Anthony Lopez; along with a beautiful granddaughter, Raven. She has taught at Glen Rose Elementary School for 29 years. Amy and Gary joined the club to meet new fiends with similar interests and to be apart of a charitable club that gives back to the community. They enjoy spending time with their kids and going to car shows. Her dream vehicle is a 70s Ford Bronco!
