Velta Ships has secured the Gene Moss bldg. for the club Christmas party to be held on December 1.  Festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m.  She also presented the idea of hiring a band for the party.  They have given a discounted rate of $200 for one hour of music.   The schedule will be:  6:00-7:00 dinner, 7:00-8:00 the band will play.  The menu will be Turkey and Ham.  Velta is taking volunteers for sides and desserts.  Bill McMahan made a motion to hire the Penn Family Band for the Christmas Party at the $200 rate.  Motion was seconded and the vote carried.  Chris Beason made a motion that we do not play Dirty Santa this year.  Cheryl Overton seconded the motion.  After discussion, we had 16 votes for no Dirty Santa to 6 votes to play.  Vote carried to not  have Dirty Santa this year.
